as fine artists. Most create work which is widely exhibited by commercial and public fine art galleries and major arts institutions including museums and arts centers. Each has a
passion for sharing ideas and nurturing the talents of their students and peers.

R.Skip Kohloff
Skip received his MFA from Rochester Institute of Technology and worked a 26 year career as a highly respected photographic arts educator in the public school system and higher education, in special programs with the Colorado Photographic Arts Center and teaching also for Working with Artists. He was President of the Colorado Photographic Arts Center from 1987-2005 during which time he curated and coordinated many important exhibits of internationally acclaimed photographic artists. Skip has served the Colorado community often as a juror of fine art photography and is a frequent guest lecturer and portfolio reviewer at PhotoAmericas, Portland, Oregon, Houston FotoFest, Texas and SPE. His personal work is exhibited regionally, nationally and internationally, garnering many awards including a Westword Best of Denver for his 30 year retrospective; and in 2003 received the AFKEY award from the Alliance for Contemporary Art/Denver Art Museum. Kohloff's works are part of major fine art photography collections throughout Colorado, the Rochester Institute of Technology, NY and numerous private collections. 

Nancy Missbach
Nancy Missbach’s books are internationally collected and exhibited. Her fine craft is to create artists’ books and to provide services for the conservation of printed materials at her private studio in Denver’s Golden Triangle neighborhood. Nancy is also deeply involved in teaching and has presented numerous workshops.
Mikel (Misha) Secore is a freelance photographer who teaches alternative processes and beginning through intermediate photography at Metro State and Community Colleges of Denver. Her work has been published in numerous magazines and newspapers, and in commercial print projects including calendars and CD’s. Her award winning work is shown in galleries regionally.

Kyle Masuga
Kyle Masuga has worked in photography for over seven years. He attended Lansing Community College in Michigan where he studied fine art photography. Kyle has been working at Mile High Camera for about 2 years in both lab services and sales. He volunteers for photographic institutions and is currently pursuing his BFA at MSCD. His work has been exhibited in various local and regional venues.

Kevin O’Connell
Kevin’s platinum and silver, photographs are exhibited internationally from Paris, France to Santa Fe, New Mexico. Solo and group shows number more than 50. His work has been shown at Denver Art Museum, Museum of Contemporary Art and nearly every major contemporary venue in Denver. Regionally he is represented by Ron Judish Fine Arts, Denver, and PhotoEye Gallery, Santa Fe. Eric Paddock
Curator of photography at the Colorado Historical Society, Eric has been teaching and exhibiting his work throughout the US. He is especially known for his work on the populated landscape of Colorado. His work was recently published as a book, ?Belonging to the West?. Eric will be teaching our workshop ?Small Town America? in late Summer 2002.

Daniel Perales has two BA’s, Anthropology and Fine Art. Son to a Spanish father and American mother , Daniel’s work reflects his interest in the study of people and culture. Daniel taught photography and Spanish to high schoolers in Steamboat Springs and he now works for the Denver Art Museum photo department. Daniel is assisting in development of workshops taught in Spanish. www.3peras.com

Deanne Pytlinski
An Art Historian specializing in 20th century art and history of photography, Deanne has recently completed a dissertation on women in early video art of the 1970s. She earned her Master's degree from Pratt Institute, and her Ph.D. in Art History from the Graduate Center, City University of New York. She has taught at several front range universities and is currently Visiting Assistant Professor at Metropolitan State College of Denver. Deanne's extensive knowledge of art, artists, and critical theory offers our participants a deeper understanding of historical techniques, creative contributions, and the lives of people who influence art today

Tory Read
Tory Read creates photographs that tell powerful stories for exhibit in non-traditional places. Tory’s photographs are collected by Children’s Hospital, University Hospital among others. Awards have included five grants from Colorado Council on the Arts and Humanities, two from Denver Foundation, and others. She has produced five books of her photography and writing. www.toryread.com

Charles Roitz
Internationally, Charles has participated in over 300 group exhibitions and been honored with more than 36 one person shows. His work has been collected by numerous museums such as MOMA, The George Eastman House, The Denver Art Museum, and by many individuals. His work has appeared in national and international magazines such as Art In America, books such as Marks In Place, Innovative Printmaking. Founding the Photography Program at the CU Boulder, CO in 1970 (Digital in 1982), Charles is Emeritus Faculty (1991) at that Institution and presently teaches part time at Regis University as well as teaching periodic workshops. He has been honored with three NEA and several other grants. Currently, upcoming exhibitions include the Amon Carter Museum, Ft. Worth, TX – 1/03 to 5/03. See samples of Charlie's work here.

Daniel Salazar
Danny has been included in well over 15 exhibitions in major centers and museums from New York to San Francisco and Denver. He has also supported the arts community with Colorado Council on the Arts and Humanities, NEA panels and Denver Public Schools. Danny will present Border Crossings, Spring 2002.

Paul Schröder
Paul is exhibited in Denver and nationally, including a major show at the Joslyn Museum in 1997. His work has been collected by the Joslyn and the Denver Art Museums and is also included in major private collections. He teaches regular classes in photography at Arapahoe Community College.

Galia Shapira
Galia is an Israeli artist who uses documentary material, incorporated into photo-constructions, to address social, cultural and political issues. A relative newcomer to Denver, Galia was given a solo exhibit at MCA-Denver, Fall 2001. She studied photography and art in Israel, London and Oakland, California. Galia taught workshops in Palo Alto and at MCA-Denver, and mentored students at Stanford University.

Mark Sink
Founder of the Denver Salon, co-founder of The Sight, former interim curator MCA-Denver, gallery owner, teacher and curator – Mark’s personal work has been exhibited and purchased by major institutions internationally.
