CLASSES & WORKSHOPS WITH CAROL BEEBY

DIGITAL VIDEO CAMERA BASICS
Love your video camera but want to take better movies? This class will cover lighting and camera functions to help you document passages of your life with panache! Join Carol in our studio at WWA to practice and try new effects and ideas.

GET MOVING WITH iMOVIE
Movies are just a bunch of still images–right? So there’s no doubt that photographic fine art principles of composition and choice of lighting that we use for individual photographs are also important in making a movie. This weekend will start with an orientation on Friday night and viewing of the inspiring film about artist Andy Goldsworthy. You will view and discuss more important fine art films on Saturday. Carol will introduce moviemaking using iMovie and how to bring your own stories to life on the “silver” screens of Macintosh computers. Each workshop participant will create a short movie by the end of the weekend. Limit 8
