KIT HEDMAN, FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHER
Kit's work has been shown in multiple galleries as well as the Heard Museum. Published work includes Rolling Stone, Mother Jones, SF Examiner (Sunday magazine covers), the Miami Herald and Smithsonian publications. Kit has travelled and photographed in Central America and Europe, and has a long term project on the Tarahumara Indians of Mexico. He was awarded grants from Arts Council of California and Colorado. Two current projects are portraits of the elderly homeless and portraits of teenage parents. He studied photography at City College of San Francisco. PHOTOGRAPHING FAMILY 101:
If you love family photography, learn professional photographic techniques for sharing your vision. You will need a basic understanding of your camera settings for ISO, aperture and shutter speed (digital or film). Work in our studio with professional equipment and a variety of backdrops.

Follow this introduction with a full weekend of photographing families with the expectation of making energetic and perceptive final portraits. Work with individual portraits from babies to seniors, then create dynamic group photographs that express the true character of the subject family.
