CLASSES & WORKSHOPS WITH PATRICIA BARRY LEVY

DIGITAL TALES WITH COLLAGED SYMBOLS
Using Photoshop Elements, your photographs and scanned objects, we will explore story telling through the medium of photo collage to create symbolism. Existing photographs and scans, newly photographed objects and/or people, and newly scanned small objects will be combined in the computer to create new digital compositions that go beyond the image in meaning and interest. Examine your story in a selected image, work out the elements and symbols needed, and construct new and exciting photo illustrations.
