Working with Artists & Brooklyn Arts Project are partnering with wdydwyd? to create a collaborative exhibition at Burning Man 2008 — an event that attracts over 45,000 people to a prehistoric lake bed for one of the world’s largest and most avant-garde art festivals.

SELF DEFINED: The Art of the Self Portrait

How do others see you? How do you see you? What do you value about yourself? How does your environment define you? Who do you pretend to be? How do others see you? Who is the “real” you? Who would you be in different life circumstances? Self portraits have the ability to express your inner dialogue about who you are in relationship to the world around you in a way that text can’t define.
Portraits of the self can be far different than traditional compositions and the artist mat represent “self” without limitation – long shutters, night shots, collage, multimedia, text etc. Reveal your intimate self with abandon!
